About:
TODE (China hand) (pronounced “toe-day”) is described as the indigenous/native Okinawan warrior methods combined with Chinese warrior methods. These warrior methods of TODE (originating before the year 1900 before the change to a modern firearms military) are efficient requiring less muscular strength. TODE emphasizes the development of a good moral character and precise self defense skills using Tuite and Kyusho Jitsu techniques. It has the philosophy of defense of self and others, including concern for the attacker(s).
Tuite Jitsu or Tuite (for short) is a grappling art used to exploit weaknesses of the human body through the manipulation of muscles, tendons, joints, and bones.
Kyusho Jitsu is a vital point striking art that exploits weaknesses of the human body by attacking the nerves and blood vessels.
